Creating Gourmet, Fire Grilled European Cuisine in Calimesa, CA

Margie and Henry Haverland opened The Haus Bistro just over a year ago, and are already gathering a reputation for creating one of the most unique eating experiences in the Inland Empire. Combining the cuisine of France, Germany, Italy and Switzerland, Haus Bistro will take you on a culinary trip of Europe without ever leaving Southern California.

Both Henry and Margie are first generation Americans who grew up Kitchens. Margie's parents are from Mexico, and she developed a passion for French cuisine early in her career. Henry's Dad is from Germany is his mother is from Switzerland, both immigrating to America and opening the Alpine House in Banning. After spending years growing up in the kitchen, Henry took his cuisine to the next level by working at the at the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles and subsequently spending a year training in Zurich, Switzerland.

As Henry's repertoire of European selections has expanded and become more mature, he has began to receive the accolades of many well respected restaurant critics and journalists.
